The first forum of jurisprudential waqf issues was held in Kuwait between 15-17 Sha'ban 1424H (11-13 October 2003). The scientific research presented was focused on the following three axes: Waqf debts, contemporary benefactor's fees and investment of Waqf funds.

The Forum was organized by the General Secretariat of Awqaf in cooperation with the Presidency of Religious Affairs, the General Directorate of Awqaf of the Republic of Turkey and the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah and held in Istanbul from 10-12 Jumada II 1432 AH (13-15 May 2011).

The 7th Waqf Jurisprudence Issues Forum was held at the Bristol Hotel in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 9 to 11 Shaban 1436 AH corresponding to 27 to 29 May 2015. The forum’s work revolved around the financial status of the Waqf – stopping the production tools – rooting the Waqf revenues – decisions, recommendations and other topics.
