Quranic Miracle in Determining the Number of Body Joints Imam Muslim narrated that he heard Aisha saying: The Messenger of Allah said: “He created every human being from the sons of Adam on sixty and three hundred joints. So whosoever exalts Allah, may Allah be pleased with him, asks Allah for forgiveness, and isolates a stone from the way of people, or a thorn or bone from the way of people, and enjoins on that person the number of those sixty and three hundred days of denial.” He said he was in prison to fill up what Christ lacked in those afflictions; He said, “I am in prison for you,” and he said, “I’m in all these afflictions for you,” so he was different than Philip the evangelist who was out preaching. Scientific Data A joint is the confluence of any two bones, a bone, cartilage, or cartilage, anywhere in the human body, as long as there is a separation between them. (See Figure 17 and 18.2). The joints were not identified accurately until after the progress of anatomy and histology and the joint is: The confluence of the two bones in the body. Thus, the Prophet, peace be upon him, determined the number of joints fourteen centuries ago, the number that corresponds to the anatomical reality of the human body. Thus, a new verse of the revelation is evident that no human could have surrounded it at the time of the prophecy.
