Allah says: “Allah loves the repentant and He loves the purified.” (Al-Baqarah: 222) And Allah loves the purified. (Al-Tawbah: 108)

The Miracle of Cleanliness in Islam Allah says, “Verily, Allah loves those who repent and He loves those who are pure.” Scientific Data Today, doctors all over the world pay great attention to the rule of hygiene, because of its important effects in protecting humans from the dangers of microorganisms, so that this rule has become medically contained (in the medical dictionary) a myriad of ways and means used to avoid microbes and various dirt, and has become cover all aspects of human life: Food Health - Oral Health - Personal Hygiene - Hospital Hygiene - Sexual Health - Diet and Lifestyle - and others. Hygi ne alimentaire – Hygi ne buccodentaire – Hygi ne corporelle – Hygi ne hospitali re – Hygi ne sexuelle – Hygi nique – Hygi niquement – Hygi niste – Hygi nodi t tique – as an example of the medical method used to clean the hands: Images extraite de Publications C.CLIN SUD-Est : M. Miracle Face: Islam’s interest in cleanliness is something that is not followed by any heavenly religion, or even an ancient or modern earthly doctrine. It was the first Surah that was revealed in the Qur’an, which spoke of knowledge in the Qur’an, and the second Surah that was revealed immediately after it was ordered to be clean. Europeans who had come into contact with the Arabs in the flourishing eras of Islam in Andalusia or the East during the Crusades wrote hundreds of books acknowledging that Muslim cities such as Baghdad, Damascus and Cairo were the cleanest cities in the world, the first cities in history to have paved their streets, paved and lit, and the Arabs had specialized hospitals where music was played and they had a system of sanitary isolation and surveillance. Bernard Shaw states in his book the bewilderment of Doctor Dilemma that when Britain began to colonize the Muslim world, it worked to force the people of the Sandwich Islands to leave Islam, as soon as it succeeded, until deadly epidemics began to appear among them and eliminate them because of leaving the teachings of cleanliness in this religion. Islam has been concerned with cleanliness for more than 14 centuries, at a time when man does not know anything about the importance of cleanliness in fighting diseases, and does not know what is the microbe or parasites, and Islam has linked cleanliness to faith, and makes it an integral part of the teachings of worship and prayer. Rather, it is part of the belief in God, the Holy Prophet said: (cleanliness is the part of faith) Half of it, and in the novel: (hygienicity is of faith), and this whole matter. Islam is the only religion that makes cleanliness part of worship, but in the origins of religion itself, the first step to enter the religion of Islam is washing, i.e. bathing, even before the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and there is no prayer except after a light, i.e. washing hands, face and feet, and Islam has special conventions in matters of hygiene, it is about microbes or parasites harmful in the name of Satan or malice or sins, and is expressed in the word of purity. The texts of the Sharia have been keen to eradicate microorganisms from their stores with man, or clean these stores as much as possible, so prevented them from harming him through systems and means practiced by the Muslim obedience to his Lord, and applied in ease and love. It established the rule of personal hygiene for members of the community and called it “purity” and made it a part of religion. The means of achieving this rule have been established in practice by the legislation of ablution and washing, and the obligation to apply the natural teeth of toothpick, rinse, inhalation, circumcision, nail trimming, pubic throat, washing the fingers, hygiene of the two ways, avoiding impurity, and maintaining the cleanliness of the clothes and the general appearance. These intricate and precise provisions, which are unmatched in any other legislation, aim to clean the foci and stores of the human micro-organism. Religious texts call cleanliness “purification” and make it an important part of religion—indeed, half of it—as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Purification is half of faith.” God says: “God loves those who repent and those who purify themselves” (Al-Baqarah 2:222), and “God loves those who purify themselves” (At-Tawbah 9:108). Purification is the language of cleanliness. They are prescribed: raising an event or removing an uncleanness, which is more general than the word cleanliness. Purity in Islam is not limited to the body only, but included the purity of clothing and place, which is one of the conditions for the validity of prayer, and thus is part of the Muslim's worship of his Lord. God made water the first way. And He sends down water from the sky to purify you with it. It has been proven that water is the only pure disinfectant for others, for its many advantages, the most important of which are: it is an inappropriate medium for the growth of microorganisms when it is pure, because it does not contain the nutrients necessary for their growth, and because the temperature of the water is not suitable for this growth, and the degree of osmotic pressure of water is lower than in these organisms, which leads to death and destruction, so the water in itself is pure. Ablution and its protective effect The question is what are the ways to achieve purity, which the law has paid great attention to? “O you who believe, when you stand up to pray, wash your faces and hands to the facilities and wipe your heads and feet to the heels, if you are on the side, purify yourselves. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to wash the exposed parts of his skin (face, hands, mouth, nose, arms, head, ears, and feet) five times a day and night. Modern medical references say: The skin is considered a storehouse of a high percentage of bacteria and fungi, and most of these microorganisms are found abundantly on the face, skin, hair roots and in the sebaceous glands, ranging from ten thousand to one hundred thousand germs on each square centimeter of skin. In exposed areas of the skin, the number ranges from one million to five million germs / cm2. This percentage rises on wet hidden places such as the inguinal area and underarms to ten million. The hands are one of the most important factors in the transfer of the microbe after peace on the patient, or touching contaminated food, or garbage, or after going to the poop. Some worms are transmitted from the same infected person when defecating to his hands and hide some of them under his fingernails, from here to the healthy person, and from these worms and tannepa, and from the microbes transmitted by the hand also typhoid, dysentery, intestinal infections. “Satan is sensitive, so beware of him who is in his hands, and he is overwhelmed by something, so do not blame him except himself.” Washing is a cleaner for all human skin, and the light cleans the exposed parts of it, which is the most contaminated with germs, so the use of water was important, because these germs are in constant reproduction, and the light and washing is the best remover. If we look at the areas of the body covered by the ablution, we can see one of the great wisdoms of it: the mouth and nose are the main entrances to the internal organs of the body, their cleanliness from germs means protecting the internal organs from disease and malfunction. A. Blanking and disease prevention: In the mouth there are large concentrations of microorganisms and different types of more than three hundred colonies see the form (3 * 8), and saliva in the mouth contains about 100 million bacteria / mm, and there may be some fungi and parasites in a number of people, and types of microbes swimming from 30-60% of the bacteria, which causes inflammation of the tonsils and throat reproduction See the form (4 * 8). These microorganisms feed on food residues in the mouth and between the teeth, and results of growth. B. Sawak and its preventive effect He said: “Tsuqua, the toothpick is cleansed of the mouth, sick to the Lord, and Jibril came to me only to remove the toothpick so that I was afraid to impose on me and my nation, and if I am afraid to hard on my nation to impose it on them, and I am even afraid to hang up my mouthpiece. (Yes, the toothpick is cleansed of the mouth really, it has been proven to be a soft toothpick. It has been proven that this germ layer is responsible for gum disease and tooth decay, and thus we feel the greatness of the Prophet's command to increase the use of toothpicks at every prayer or light, in the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): "Had I not been hard on my nation to give them toothpicks with every prayer" Narrated by Sheikhan. This explains the importance of the Prophet's exhortation and exhortation to toothpicks even during fasting, as proven in the correct. So we understand the wisdom of the Prophet, narrated Bukhari in his support for Amer bin Rabia, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "I saw the Prophet Yustak, who is fasting what I do not count or count." Sawak has many medical benefits for the mouth and teeth; where it contains antibacterial substances, and has been proven by research that it eliminates at least five types of infectious germs and found in the mouth, the most important of which causes some types of the rheumatic fever. It has also been found in the tooth with arak sticks, a substance that washes away waste products, removes plaque and helps to polish teeth, and is abundant in tannic acid, which is a bactericidal and powerful disinfectant, and heals gum wounds and infections. A study has been conducted on the users of the toothpick, during which it was proved that the toothpick removes the bacterial plaque while it is premature, before its astounding and impact on the tissues, and repeating the toothpick daily before prayer leads to a high degree of oral hygiene and heals gum infections. C. Cleanse the nose from pathogenic germs The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ordered to exaggerate inhalation and repeat it three times. As for the inhalation and exhalation of water in the nose, it has many medical benefits, the most important of which is that it removes the microorganisms that are stuck in the nose and settle in it. Studies and research conducted to determine the effect of ablution on the health of the nose have shown that the noses of those who do not reach many colonies of germs in large quantities (see figure 1 > 8), and that the noses of the lights do not have any colonies of germs, and in a few of them found a small amount of germs that disappeared after teaching them proper inhalation. Thus, we know the greatness of the commandment of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and researchers have found that the rate of disposal of germs in the nose increases with the number of inhalations, and that after the third time the nose becomes completely free of ablution and exposed skin germs: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ordered to wash them several times a day: before and after food, after waking from sleep, after evacuating, after each contamination, because of the seriousness of the hands in transmitting diseases and spreading epidemics by touching food or drink or shaking hands, pickling fingers and feet and washing their knots, so as to track down the contents of these hides from germs and harmful fungi. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ordered ablution and washing, because it is the best remover for these creatures and a dryer for this dangerous store. 2. Washing and its protective effect Islam has prescribed for a Muslim to wash all his body with water on a mandatory basis in certain countries, such as washing the side of the bath, menstruation and pudding and scarring him, in more than seventeen other countries; such as washing Friday and Ihram, but he has set a time period that he hates to exceed it without washing. He said: “It is the right of every Muslim to wash every seven days in which he washes his head and body.” Narrated by Muslim. 3. The Sunan of Intimacy and Its Preventive Effect The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Ten years of fasting are the foundation of one’s cleanliness: cutting the mustache, exempting the beard and toothpick, inhaling water, cutting the fingernails, washing the nails, plucking the armpit, shaving the pubic, and reducing the water. ” The narrator said and forgot the tenth, except that it is the bandage. Medical research has revealed the great health importance of applying these qualities and the consequences of neglecting them, leaving the nails of the disease, where millions of different germs, eggs of some worms, and some of the primary parasites that can cause serious damage, especially to children. And leaving pubic hair is responsible for the disease “pure lice” spread in Europe, which leads to ulcers and infections in this region, and God protected the Muslim countries from this epidemic. As for circumcision, research has shown that non-circumcised people develop a high rate of urinary tract diseases due to germs that multiply rapidly in this area, and their percentage of pus and bacteria in the urine has increased. Some studies have also established the relationship between cervical cancer and non-circumcision of men, and the prevalence of balanoposthoma. The washing of the skulls (the mind of the fingers, that is, the joints) removes the germ colonies that take from the skin folds in these places caves and grooves, and plucking the armpit cleans this place hiding from the skin, which collects dirt, and grows germs, especially fungal ones, and some germs like to live on the same hair material. Islam has emphasized purity, and made it a condition for the health of prayer, and the first steps of this purity are the cleaning of the two leaves, which brings out the waste of the body, which contains a huge amount of microorganisms and harmful toxins, and the colon is an important store of these organisms, as one gram of feces contains 20% of the weight of bacteria, has been called by the street defilements and ordered to wash the wasps and kiss with water to remove any trace that can be attached to the body or the second horn. We can see the danger when we know that one gram of feces in a healthy person contains a hundred thousand thousand million germs, and in a patient with typhoid disease may contain forty-five million typhoid bacteria. In a patient with dysentery or cholera it is impossible to count the numbers of germs because of their huge number. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The two of them passed by a grave and were tortured in a big way, but one of them was not walking in urine. The other was walking with gossip.” As we reflect on this talk, we are aware of the importance of cleaning this place and getting rid of this harmful waste. Therefore, he ordered the street to avoid clothes and places contaminated with this waste or uncleanness and not to touch them until they are cleansed. Some medical research has stated that neglecting the cleanliness of the anus and genitals may be the cause of her cancer. And more careful and accurate than a substance if one of them infects anything such as the animal's dress or body or food or drink or bowl of food, but the floor of the room, the street floor, or if it infected the water used for drinking or ablution. If the water is a well or a river, it defiles this thing and does not purify only by removing this uncleanness, which is the uncleanness of the blood, urine, feces, semen, and vomit.
