Evolution: Still a Theory in Crisis - Publisher's Introduction Why this book?! When you hear about the release of a new book by the famous geneticist Dr. Michael Denton, you are no doubt curious. When you hear that the title of his new book is "Evolution: Still a Theory in Crisis", 30 years after his old book, curiosity will undoubtedly increase! Dr. Denton is a specialist scientist, of course, but the prestige and fame of his book, had several factors other than his specialization, perhaps it is that his old book did not put his criticism of evolution from the perspective of creationist creationist, as was prevalent in the intellectual arena at the time of the book, but was a strict scientific criticism, in which his presentation focused on proving that the pillars and pillars of modern Darwinism lack evidence. Thirty years after the publication of Denton’s old book, the problems he spoke of persist. Indeed, scientific progress has made it harder than it has ever been, so all the responses that have been adopted in his critique of the book have fallen on the factor of time and future scientific progress. For Darwinism to work, it is necessary to delete any type of design or guidance, and leave the entire stage for natural selection, in order to develop varieties gradually and slowly over millions of years, to serve essentially adaptive functions; it works to keep the organism and the species alive, and adds adaptive features to it with its environment. In his previous book, Denton dropped the idea that there is a possibility of a fish with legs or a hairy reptile or follicular placenta, but his new book, after abandoning the concept of adaptation that he was convinced of at the time of writing the old book, and his adoption of structuralism – from scientific points of view – in the world of biology, for many reasons, is overexplained within this book. The impact of this on the conflict with Darwinism is serious. If we go beyond the discussion of all the claims Darwinism makes, there is no doubt that the idea that every evolutionary step is taken by any being cannot be disproved. Denton does not say here that there is no adaptive quality, but his argument proves that not all living qualities are adaptive, and at the same time suggests the need for biology to adopt the concept of structuralism; in order to better understand experimental scientific data. Within structuralism, life and its enormous diversity are not shown by chance and length of time, but they exist as they are in nature for a purpose, and here empirical science stops and moves on to the philosophical or religious field, which will no doubt prove life. The main goal of Darwinism is to prove that there is no need for life to exist. It may be worth noting here that Denton is still agnostic, does not acknowledge or oppose the existence of the Creator, and this may cause a displeasure to the supporters of Darwinism. We do not mean that the scientists of the believers are accused of prejudice, the supposed prejudices are on both sides. Denton never stopped reviewing and renewing his earlier arguments, or even introducing structuralism, but moved within his overall vision of structuralism, to talk about that exciting region; the human. That distinctive type that has capabilities that can never be explained by adaptation, function, slow gradual evolution ... and other Darwinian absurdities. All of this confirms the complete failure of the evolutionary paradigm, and that it is time for scientists to give intelligent design the opportunity as a framework for life science research, just as Denton did. Notably, one of the pillars of the theory (Michael Behe) did not begin to think about opposing Darwinism and looking for an alternative to it, until after he read Denton's first book. We hope that this book will move the dweller in our Arab world, and help create a dialogue environment based primarily on science and research, and help the reader to find the right to access his peta.
