The constants and variables in the Sharia are constants that do not change such as the origins of beliefs, worship and absolute prohibitions, and variables such as means and transactions based on custom. The absolute and the speculative distinction between the absolute and the imaginary prevents from inertia and waste. Renewal revives understanding and diligence in the light of purposes, no change to what has been proven by a definitive text.
