Cosmic Constants: Fundamental Truths in the Structure of the Universe between Scientific Discovery and Quranic Indications
Cosmic constants are one of the most important discoveries that have changed the course of modern physics, first appearing in the 19th century by Newton and Maxwell, and then evolving decisively with Einstein's general relativity and quantum mechanics. It turns out that these values do not change over time or space, and form a firm basis for the laws governing cosmological interactions.
1. Cosmic calculation and fine tuning:
The sun and the moon are the same; they are the same.
The word "calculated" in the language refers to the meaning of numerical estimation and calculated measurement, which refers to astronomical accuracy and cosmological constants.
2. Steady and undisturbed skies:
Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth, that they may pass away.
Extinction: Deviation or disruption of the system. It indicates that the stability of the universe is not automatic, but rather a divine grasp corresponding to what we today call the stability of physical laws and cosmological constants.
3. Advance Cosmic Estimation:
“And everything he has is equal to the amount of” (Sura Al-Radar, verse 8)
That is, everything in the universe – from the atom to the galaxy – is estimated by an exact calculation, which refers to cosmological constants (such as the speed of light, the Planck constant, etc.).
4. Order and accuracy in the movement of celestial bodies:
"Neither the sun should perceive the moon, nor the night before the day, and all in your orbit swim."
Sura 40 – Harmonic system in the movement of celestial bodies, which indicates the existence of precise laws governing the universe, which corresponds to the modern concepts of orbit, speed and orbital balance.
5. Widening Universe (Cosmic Expansion):
"The sky is built by hands and we are enlarged" (Sura Al-Zarayat - verse 47) "for enlarged": indicates that the sky is in a state of continuous expansion, which is consistent with the theory of the Big Bang and the expansion of the universe discovered by Edwin Hubble in the twentieth century, which corresponds to the cosmic phenomenon known today.
6. Cosmic Balance and No Tyranny (Tropical and Gravity Balance):
"And he cast into the earth my anchors to stretch you out, rivers and ways, that you may be guided" (Bee Wall - verse 15) "to stretch you out": that is, so that the earth does not tilt and disturb its motion, which indicates the delicate balance in the rotation of the earth and its relative stability despite its high speed. This corresponds to the concept of "orbital balance" between gravity and centrifugal force, which preserves the stability of the planets in their orbits.
7. Astronomy cycle (periodic laws of the universe):
"Night curls by day and day curls by night" (Sura al-Zamr - verse 5) "Yakor": means rotation and encirclement, an accurate description of the rotation of the earth around its axis resulting in the succession of night and day. It refers to the axial rotation of the earth, which is one of the physical constants that preserve the regularity of life on the planet.
8. Material Relativity (Instability of Earthly Matter):
"All who are on it,* and the face of your Lord will remain almighty" (Sura al-Rahman, verse 26-27) indicates that all creatures are mortal, which is in accordance with the law of entropy (thermal decomposition) in physics, which states that all physical systems are destined to perish and decay.
