Evolution Icons: Science or Myth? - Publisher Introduction Why this book?! Praise be to Allah, He created man, taught him the manifesto, and gave everything it created and then guided it. Those who imagine that human knowledge is divided parts do not take each other by reservation, especially if we know that the correct perception of the mind - and therefore knowledge - requires that the parts in the state of continuous interaction does not last a blink of an eye, if not in the apparent level of consciousness of the individual at the sublevel and forever.[1] People today of all kinds and different backgrounds are open to a huge amount of knowledge flowing, but are affected at every moment by all the implications of the literal. The authority of this complex knowledge reality is hardly surrendered to anyone, including the Muslim individual, no matter how far away he is from himself, although we see the policy of complete disassociation is neither practical nor realistic, as the influence must be faced with influence not only to remain affected, when it is negative, but to move the Muslim individual from a state of isolation and arrogance to a state of learning and predation. It is necessary, at the very least, to have a good knowledge of the circumstances of the times, the origins of his knowledge, the nature of his methods, and the differences of the industrious, so that the bearer of the Islamic message from its original pure sources can develop his knowledge tools, and his methods of pilgrimage, commensurate with the nature of the issues raised in his time. One of these pressing issues, which has not been hidden since the Age of Enlightenment (European) to this day, but it is on the increase, the issue of the relationship between religion and science, or to convey the relationship between the religious text and the scientific issue. The issue at hand in this book is a separate issue from this major issue, but it is today[2] one of the most important and sensitive issues in the direct pursuit of humanity. It is the issue of evolution in general, and Darwinian evolution in particular. As stated in The Three Messages of Atheism, Reason, and Faith, the theory of evolution in its current form is no longer "limited to the attempt to explain the purely biological aspect of life, but has expanded in its explanatory scope to penetrate fields of independence and sovereignty such as sociology, psychology, nerves, and culture, we now have what is known as evolutionary sociology, evolutionary psychology, or evolutionary psychology." Recognizing that the Muslim individual is not without a need to understand the nature of the debate between religion and evolution theory or beyond the level of personal understanding to participate in the industry of opinion and judgment and weighting, I say from our awareness of this, saw (Brahin Center) participation in overcoming what would help the Muslim to meet these two needs as much as possible. We have chosen to do this as a translation project - within a series of other translation projects - the authors of the book (Icons of evolution). Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: “The Muslim recites what he needs from the books of the nations and their words in their language, and translates them into Arabic.” The core message of Icons of Evolution revolves around two fundamental ideas; the first is to highlight the ability of natural science experts to employ an ideologically repressive and exclusionary theory whenever they want or feel the need for it. The second idea is to highlight the ability of natural science itself to be transformed through its theories, hypotheses and proponents into myths with icons, narratives, symbols and special references. We hope that Icons of Evolution will enrich the Arab-Islamic Library as a tributary to the construction of the right perception before participating in the judgment on this issue. We do not mean by the right perception that everything that has been stated in the work of Wales is necessarily true. All this is not intended and should not be with any human production, no matter how much the owner knows. Rather, it means that in order to understand the whole story, it is necessary to listen to all parties who influence it. The minimum aspiration of the (Braheen Center) to transfer this book to Arabic is to negate the impression of certain minds that have been affected negatively emotionally superficially by the new atheistic proposition with its own employments of science and its personal interpretations of its outputs; the impression of accepting the atheistic contents of the theory of Darwinian evolution is not as a conviction arising from a careful objective reflection of all the dimensions of the issue, but rather the impression of accepting this theory of Darwinian evolution. Before concluding, I would like to thank you and leave a note of caution. I thank God first for the work we have done at Brahin Center, and then the translation, coordination and revision team for their great effort to bring this work out in the midst of the crowding of work, time constraints and lack of support. The warning I would like to leave is about translation. As the translation and revision team worked under difficult conditions and faced several challenges to get this work out in a record time, and like any work done in such circumstances, such work will not be without lack or error, and good hope in readers to seek an excuse, and guide our flaws on the advice to find out what needs to be corrected or correct what needs to be corrected in future editions.
