Science covers only a very narrow aspect of the field of knowledge, which is not objective but subjective, subject to human vision and analyzed by human ability, science must establish its own practice and method of communication and its own society and its own group, not to monopolize all cognitive situations, and then claim objectivity, and even stigmatize others with undisciplined and non-cognitive intuition, so the demand of the third millennium is to isolate science from the state.
Scientific experience is limited by human incompetence, unable to reach it itself before others, and its purpose is to monitor and not to penetrate the observer or solutions in order to identify it. So the attempt to make universalist judgments is unjustified, so where is the necessary proof that human experience is the basis for understanding things?!
Therefore, the Qur’an expresses this delusional sense of human experience’s ability to give absolute judgments, expressed in the word authority, “those who argue against the verses of Allah without authority” [Gafer: 35], this authority associated with that authority is granted by a authority that transcends us, not something that we have, “or have sent down to them an authority that speaks to what they used to associate with it.”
