Atheism for Beginners: Your Short Guide to the Dialogue between Faith and Atheism - Author's Introduction All praise is due to Allah, we praise Him and seek His forgiveness, and we seek refuge with Allah from the evils of ourselves and from the evils of our deeds. One night in November 2014, I was surprised by a number of phone calls from friends and acquaintances telling me that one of the well-known broadcasters with a Marxist orientation came out in his program insulting and cursing Salafis who announced a scientific course to resist atheism, and I was invited by the Center for Research and Studies to give two lectures in this course in conjunction with Dr. Haitham Talaat Srour and Professor Mustapha Nasr Qdeih. This course was not my first relationship with the famous new atheism file in the Arab world. In 2004 I was one of the co-founders of the Tawhid forum specialized in dialogue on contemporary atheism and intellectual doctrines, and I participated - and still participate - in the dialogues that took place within this large forum with Malahad, Arab, Kurdish, Amazigh, Turkmen and Africans from different Muslim countries over many years. This forum was the reason for the guidance of groups of atheists, skeptics and harems to Islam, as well as the reason for my personal acquisition of a lot of experience in the dialogue of atheists and non-religious and know their ways and ways of raising suspicions and understanding their mentality and minds and the citizens of their problems, in addition to the acquisition of a very large number of friends and loved ones who share the same cause of advocacy and from whom I learned many and many and I am still learning from them to this day. In late 2013, a distinguished group of pioneers of the unification forum led by Maestro and Prof. Abdullah Al-Shehri established the Brahin Center for the Study of Atheism and Studies to be a new step in addressing the file of atheism outside the framework of the Internet, and the center has already issued several issues of the magazine Brahin characterized by high scientific and legal level. But the work on the ground in the treatment of atheism began before this period, where I was hosted by the Society of generosity to introduce Islam God and the Theory of Evolution. In July of the same year 2014, I participated with Dr. Mahmoud Naja, a teacher at Mansoura Medical School in six episodes on the Al-Rahma satellite channel last Ramadan, where we hosted Dr. Mohammed Daoud in his program (Dialogue of Faith and Atheism) to talk about the criticism of the theory of evolution, and then repeated these satellite meetings after the month of Ramadan until today. Before this time I had started to write a book containing the contents of the lectures I gave about the new atheism, and encouraged me to do this step His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Saad Al-Azhari, Director of the Center for Research and Studies, and I intended to write only about the new atheism and criticism of its most prominent theses, and then I seemed to be more writing on it in the evidence of the existence of God, where I sought to collect it from all available sources within the limits of my ability. As long as we talk about the contents of the book, I think we should give an overview of its topics, the book is divided into four sections: - The first section entitled the new atheism, and begins with the definition of the phenomenon of new atheism in the West and its emergence and the most prominent symbols and theses, and then a chapter on the causes of atheism among Arab youth reviewed the most prominent reasons mentioned by previous researchers and then added other reasons divided objectively, and then a chapter on the features of new atheism in the West. - The second section is entitled Evidence of the Existence of God, which is in three chapters: Intrinsic and Indicative of the Existence of God; Rational Evidence of the Existence of God; and External Weights of Belief on Atheism. In this section, the qualitative division and classification of evidence, especially rational evidence derived from mental consideration. - Title III is entitled Atheism Theses against evidence of the existence of God, which is in four chapters: their question of the creation of God; the problem of the existence of evil; their claim contradicts the divine ability; and the contradiction of divine science. In each chapter I was concerned with the answer from the atheistic suspicion in a way that convinces the just sane. Title IV is entitled Critique of Atheism Theses, which is in five chapters: absolute belief in science; material philosophy; the divine and cosmic similarity; the question of morality; and freedom of will. In it, she addressed the distinctive features of the atheist mentality, and showed its contradiction with reason and sense in addition to its internal contradictions. - The conclusion entitled ways to combat atheism, in which she made a statement of the importance of dealing with this file, and then how to address it either by dividing the axes of work in it or by proposing some methodological recommendations useful to researchers and workers. I have named it (Atheism for Beginners: Your Brief Guide to the Dialogue between Faith and Atheism) due to its brief nature, and thank God very much for my compromise to complete it, and thank God only those who were helpful to me in the exit of this book, and the first of them is my beloved wife Dr. Sabura, who was the best help for me in providing the right home conditions for the author of this book, as well as my two young daughters Sama Al-Al-Mutaylah Al-Al-Mutaylah. I would like to thank all those who read this humble book. I would like to thank the distinguished brothers Sultan Al Omairi and Ahmed Jawish for their knowledge of this book and their very important substantive observations that contributed to making it a better presentation and organization.
